stealth grow dresser ready but need help...

so i completed breaking down and building a dresser
looks like an ordinary dresser and should make a great grow chamber
( light leakage is another thing but ill deal with that later )
2 issues ..
1. im renting this house from family and im paying flat rate rent. they pay the bills so im thinking of using just LED lights since they dont use much power and i dont wanna be questioned by them about my power usage. seem to get conflicting reports on using just LED...
2. how many plants can i fit ? / what strain dimensions are 34'' wide 18'' deep and 38'' tall it will be a hydroponic setup if that makes a difference thinking of some kind of low ryder auto but open to suggestions
really would like some advice , thanks in advance

I really think that doing hydro in such a small space is just plain silly, soil would be way easier.
2-3 plants would be the most I would fit into a small space like that.
I would recommend PM'ing Pyschotron about the LED lights. He know a whole lot more about them than I do.
As far as strain goes you should do some looking around at the different vendors. I would stay away from Greenhouse Seeds though.

Yeah sounds like 2ish plants would be good for that. I heard UFO LED lights are good but I am not for sure so make sure to do more research.
Good luck

Normally I would say you need to do some research into LED before buying. There is a HUGE market out there with bunk fixtures out there, but also many factors to consider about your garden before choosing the right fixture.
For that size I would recommend calling Advanced LED and getting the 200w Diamond series. You could try with the 100w, but I think it would be a stretch for that size. Call and talk to them, tell them your grow area/concerns and they will get you on the right track. They can usually offer a discount and/or free shipping when calling.
The UFO style is round, thus leaving a round profile. Those are good over larger areas with multiple fixtures where they can overlap their secondary-zones. The rectangle of the 200w will be much more suited for your area. since height may be a concern, need to find a good plant that will suit that environment. The lights need to be 18-30" above the canopy (pretty sure it's less on the lower wattage though, ask them) otherwise it can bleach the tops of the bud.
The fixture and minimum hang from ceiling distances is ~5" of the top area. Not sure how much height your hydro equipment will take. Scrog or SOG to keep it down.

Well they put out a lot of heat. Depending on what you want to get out of this you could just go with CFL's

Like I said, call them and they will let you know what's up, they wont sell you a product if you don't need it. With the lower wattage it should be able to get closer, probably in the 8-14" range. It takes a while to start bleaching them, and you will notice the problem creeping up.
The heat will only be an issue if you don't have ventilation in there. Have the air sucking out the top and coming in at the bottom and you should be fine. LED gardens need to run a little warmer than with HID, ~82-85º. The heat at the top is minimal with that style light, but the light does shoot out photons and you will feel some warmth, but never too hot to touch the glass bare handed.

PC fans wont be able to do anything if you attach a carbon filter to it.

Although there is less heat, there is still an issue in a small closed area. You'll need some decent exhaust otherwise it will build up, and those pc fans wont do much. Try a real 4" exhaust fan. You can build a silencer with egg crate foam if you have the fan suck from or blow into a box lined with it. Those pc fans might work for input booster fans but the carbon filter will add too much resistance. Adding more ducting adds resistance, as well as every slight bend it has in it, avoid angles in your ducting for best performance.
I forgot to mention that Advanced also offer a 90 day no questions asked trial period with their lights, up to $1500. So you can flower with it once and decide if you will keep it. They are the only company that I've seen that does this without a restocking fee.

I am recommending looking up a LST type grow. You can snake the plant around the pot that it's living in. leaving the colas for more light exposure.

u right about the pc fans hawk
gonna turn 1 around so they are both intakes, 1 for each plant
for exhaust , gonna get a panasonic whispergreen fan, best combo of silence and power from what ive read. and then build a homemade carbon filter box
i dont have a legit camera but ill try some webcam pics when im done
