What an ignorant comment. I have used androids in the past and I simply like
the iphone better not just because its a fucking apple product just as I use a

I have a HTC Wildfire S.
Its not the best phone...its RAM sucks, so I can only have like 4 apps...but I don't use it for that much anyway. I have a browser, facebook, a QR reader and I think some kind of word search thing, which is all I need.
I really love the phone itself. HTC Sense is a wicked cool UI>

I've got an HTC g-2. Honestly, I'm SOOO tired of it glitching. Half the time I press space, it double spaces so it drops in a period and capitalizes the next word... lol. (Un-edited) Man I hate this phone. It pisses me off so very much. The glitching. And restarting itself randomply is just sooo very frustrating!

I guess I'm lucky then because mine just does what I want it to, when I want it to.
Sometimes it fucks up and sends a text a few times, but thats probably just my shitty service more than anything. The phone itself is snappy and always works when I need it to.

512mb for a phone's RAM is wicked, especially for a android which is made to multi-task. 4 apps at a time seems low, and I wonder about the problems you're having.
I have Slim ICS installed on my phone. It's way smoother, less clunky, and not loaded up the ass with apps I don't use, and less apps that loads on startup. Customization on the ROM is superb.

Had the HTC Evo 3D but hated it, not a fan of smart phones in general

I text more than i talk so have a phone with a keyboard makes it much easier

The new smart phones have a pretty nifty function that allows you to swipe text. It's pretty handy.

When I got a smart phone I chose an iPhone because there were more apps for it and I wanted something that was also going to be a good media device to keep me occupied when I'm on my way to and from work. It was a cost benefit analysis and the iPhone came out on top given my needs and desires at the time.
A lot of the important businesses and websites that I use only had apps for the iPhone at the time and this might still be the case. Things will get better for Android though.
I wish my iPhone had a bigger screen though. This is the thing I like about the Samsung Galaxy. The Galaxy Note has a huge screen for a smart phone which many people might find off putting but I'd get it because of this.

And that's thing about Android, YOU, as the CONSUMER have the choice to pick your hardware.
You're most likely right about the apps you need are only available for Iphone and not the droid. You have to keep note that, Android mostly offers free apps, while the Apple Store is expecting a certain amount of revenue in a month's time. The Google Play Store is only a few years old and serves mostly to the demo-graph of people who rather pay nothing than support the programmers!! Also, the programer has to pay more via App Store than the Google Store so there's definitely going to be viewable difference between the content and stability of the apps between.
Our community, Android, is doing all we can to bring the best phone, not the phone that'll gain the most profit, to the end user. And many of us cannot wait to see how the show runs this summer!!!

Yeah, actually I don't pay for the regular line, but I really don't have cellphone (and probably never will)... I just don't like the idea to be called at any moment of the day, or anywhere, and even if you turn it off, fuck it. I think if people wanna call me and I am not home, well too bad, I am already doing something then.

i have the g2 as well. its a complete piece of shit. apps never work when i want them to. its super slow. can't watch anything on you tube. last week it decided it would start powering off on its own radomly.
i had the g1 before and it was a freaking tank. i submerged it in water.....left it on the roof of my car going 60mph...it slid off... and fell apart. i put it back together and it fired right up. i beat tbe shit outta that phone and it never failed me. wish i woulda kept it!
