Lol I don't wanna fill the first page up with rants, but I have one of my own that I just need to fucking vent about.
When I got to work, we started a new section of the building. We went up the stairs and noticed there were people still working in there. We asked the secretary which rooms we could go in, and she told us the ones that were occupied.
Our current job is squeegeeing the windows. There are 4 of us - 1 soaper, 2 squeegeers, and one "mop up" guy after we finish. The soaper also lifts up the blinds and takes down any shit stuck on the window or on the windowsills, and the mop up guy also puts the shit back like it as when we finish.
We were in the first room, and that cunt of a secretary comes over to the door and asks "it really takes 4 of you to do this job?!"...we all laugh and assume shes just kidding around with us...then she said something to the effect of "if you would all split up and do your own windows you could get done with this in an hour! blah blah blah" I blocked her out after that because I was fucking pissed.
Someone came back with "yeah, it really does take 4 of us" and we tried to explain but she didn't want to hear it.
As she walked away (she was within earshot) I said "She wants to come down here and pester us about our jobs for standing around, is she doing her job by coming to fucking bitch at us?"...I'm sure she called my bosses boss for that one.
What kind of cunt really has the nerve and ambition to come say some shit like that? Shouldn't SHE be filing or calling someone or doing something, other than fucking with us? Really? I can tell shes the kind of person who would call the cops on you for walking past her house at a certain hour, or for "acting suspicious" or anything like that. She is everything that is wrong with this world, and I really really had to resist punching her in the fucking face.
Anyway, I'm home now and gonna get high as fuck and chill out. But I wanted to rant first.

In all honesty, we could probably do the job with 3 of us, but we'd really have to bust our asses and make work a completely miserable experience. And for minimum wage (or a little above it anyway) I'm definitely not gonna do that lol.

Hmm... I hate knowing that people like that exist. I'da cropdusted that wench.
If she's not your boss, then you shouldn't have to explain yourselves. Giving those kinda people any attention just empowers them.

Also, I don't think you'd get twice the rooms done. You do them one at a time, but you do them way faster than you would as one person each room because of working together with it instead. So I think you're doing a good pace as of now.
Maybe I'm just really high but thats my two cents o_O

Sadly there are quite a few people at my work like this. SO I know how you feel brother. Honestly best advice is to keep your head up and know that you were the better person. At least that seems to work for me.
These "people" are self rightous, arrogant, and small minded. They are one of the few types who annoy me more than a power tripping pig. Why, because they like to act all tough and bad; but don't have the balls/drive to actually go through cop school or put up with real bullshit.

I've been working with power tools since I was 8, my dad is an electrical engineer who owned a 280 gal fish tank, and I studied biology with a specialty in genetics. Getting dirty comes naturally. I think my parents inadvertently trained me to be a weed grower.

Not that I need any more justification, but it was the first room. Generally we have 2 guys in each room (guys 1 and 2 in the next room over, guys 3 and 4 still in the first room) but she didn't even give us time to get to that point.
I had a chat with my boss after all of this went down, and I guess she does shit like that all the time. She once called my bosses boss because someone walked up the wrong staircase. I shit you not.
I'm not mad anymore. Now its just funny. How pathetic her life must be

Yup, exactly like everyone I work with. All you can do is laugh. These were the people who had no friends growing up because they would tattle-tale every chance they got.

Turns out this lady called 30 minutes after my bosses office opened (which is also 3 hours before HER office even opens - aka, she was still at home) and bitched to him.
We all got written up, except for one dude in the group. He has been with them for 5 years and if he gets one more write up hes perma fired.
I guess she only works on Mondays. I've decided to have a different friend call every Tuesday and complain about the secretary at the desk being very rude to them during their visit. That bitch almost got a good friend of mine fired, I'll be goddamned if I take that laying down.
I hope to Christ it'll get her fired. I'm gonna wait a few weeks to do it so she has forgotten about it too.
