Like a women, Mary Jane secretes a wonderful variety of intoxicating fragrances that might as well be pheromones of a sexually-attractive female plant. One year, my friend bought a bag of the best-smelling buds I have ever come across: the dealer said they were "Blueberry Waffles".
And that's exactly what the buds smelled like: freshly-baked (pun was intended) Blueberry Belgium Waffles. We both vapo'd those beautiful ladies and the vapor of their bodies even tasted like Blueberry Waffles!
Then, a couple weeks later, my friend got another batch of bud from the same area of the Big Island (where we live) in a very rainy spot of the island called Hilo. This time, the plant grew outdoors next to the native plants of Hilo, which are ferns and mosses. Surprizingly, these buds smelt like the wet, dank (in the "very-moist" meaning) ferns and moss that grow in the very humid climate of Hilo, Hawaii. Didn't smell very good, but it was still interesting to sniff the buds. And my first bag of weed I ever bought smelt like strawberry popsicle (turns out the middle dealer, my best friend's brother, just sprayed some girl perfume on the buds to make them smell like strawberry buds, the clever bastard...). Also, I have this tendency to believe I am smelling buds every time I pass a dead skunk on the road. That must be why they call dank-buds "Skunk"...
So, I ask you guys: Has any of you guys/girls ever bought/grew buds that smelled like a real-world counter-part, like my Blueberry waffle example?
spice from blue sky coffee shop smelled spicy, sage kush i got once smelled like sage, and some peopple told me the stuff i just harvested smelled like pineapple (i was too accustomed to the smell to know for sure.
