How don't you like driving cars? I've never heard that before.

I've never really liked cars before, but it was cemented when my best friend and probably my coolest cousin both died in different car crashes within a week from each other back in 08.
I'll probably start driving this year because i can't drive a bicycle/motorcycle all year round and this city is to big to walk everywhere in the winter. But it's just an irrational phobia of dieing in a car crash. It's why i don't ride with anyone that texts/calls/eats/does anything while driving, I know it just takes one second to fuck up and you're gone forever.

Yea I've been doing about 1-2 j's every couple weeks from some care packages, I still don't have any hook-up here in the college town. (however I have a few places i could ask, but one of them is a girl my GF already knows tried to get at my nuts before so that source is probably a bad idea).

I feel you there. I just moved into my own place 2-3 weeks ago and havent made any connects yet. Only time I can get it is when my buddy is willing to ride his bike over and drop some off.

although it's probably best i don't know where to get any since I'm still jobless.
Probably applying at a sonic tomorrow, which would be cool with me as long as they let me keep my hair (cutting my hair is not an option).

Ive had quite a few job offers in the past week, but they all require full-time hours. That just doesnt jive with my school schedule. So I think I am going to go your route and hit up some food places this week or over the weekend and hope I can find someone to give me 15-25 hours a week doing something. Funds are getting low.

I don't like driving cars neither ... I'm way too lunatic... I need to drive high to be able to concentrate on driving...

I'm on the side where I want the speed limit raised. I enjoy driving, especially UI.

And people like that make me not like cars.
I figure if i stay on the sidewalk i can stay away from them, or at least throw a roll of quarters thought their windshield when they almost hit me.

It's not hard to control an automobile. The first time i drove I realized that every other person on the road couldn't drive worth a shit. Most bad drivers let their fear inhibit their hand and eye coordination and it leads to a bad time.

Well see? I'm scared of the other people on the road, not myself. I know i can drive well since i drive a motorcycle, however the number of people that i would of hit for doing something stupid in my low populated home town had i not been able to drive up a curve is far to high for me to feel safe on the road.

Yeah, thats my thing. I feel like I'm a decent driver and I know all the rules of the road (and obey them) but other people just don't give a fuck.
I hate it when people ride my ass for going the speed limit. I know its their fault if they rear end me, but still, I'd rather not be fucking rearended.
I don't even like riding with other people driving anymore. So many people are terrible drivers. I don't want to be a backseat driver, but when you're texting and drifting into the other lane, I don't really want to die either.

I hate riding with other people too. My best friend cant drive for shit, he's terrifying. Like stays one foot behind people, swerves at the smallest bump, takes turns at like 90.

I agree I hate being in a car with aggressive drivers
although often I am one myself
I just dont want to die because of somebody else's stupidity
And @ TBS, I dont see how you could feel safer on a bike than in a car, you can take quite a hit in a car, on a bike someone can tap you and you could die

On a bike i can also jump off. Or drive over a curve. This is just a 125 enduro it's built to go off road.
I also only ride in in areas that are 30 MPH (because it tops out in 5th or 6th gear (I really can't remember how many gears it has because it has been so long) at 60 at a straight away last time i was on a country road and the gravel wasn't loose).
I see your point though, one of my dads best friends died from someone backing out onto a highway right in front of them a few years back; however, this is the same guy that hit a dear on the same bike and wasn't to bad off afterward. My comfort level on a bike could come from the fact I've been around motorcycles all my life though, My dad raced enduro back in the day.
There is also the fact I can fix a 2 stroke engine, but a car engine is a bit harder to take apart. The only thing I don't know how to mess with on one is the magneto (do you even fix those?) or the timing (with the points and shit). Although my dad does it just doesn't happen often enough for me to of learned how to fix it.
tl;dr it's just my preference. I'm probably going to have my license for a car within a year, just no car to drive.
