Hey all, this is my first grow, and I'm going to be working with a T5 Quantum Bad Boy 8-bulb fixture.
I AM using the fluoro setup for veg and flower, and have made this decision based on a variety of factors, so please don't preach about HID lighting. That is for later on down the road some day.. for now, I am learning the ropes with a T5 setup for both phases.
It comes with 6000k bulbs, which I was planning to switch to 3000k equivalents for flowering.
What I was wondering is, would the plant benefit from having some bulbs (like 2 out of 8) still producing the 6000k spectrum, or should I switch ALL bulbs to 3000k?
And should the switch be made all at once or gradually? I am suspecting all at once to help trigger flowering phase?
Sorry for the newb questions. Done teh shrooms but not the green. Doing my best to absorb info as I go.
