Whitefly on flowering plants?
    #578114 - 08/13/11 05:33 PM (13 years, 2 months ago)

I recently noticed some whitefly activity on a plant that just started flowering, I'd use neem oil but have been cautioned against doing so on flowering plants. I know vacuums work against these ṕests but don't have one, any advice?

Hate those things.
I use a pyrethrin fogger.

Good Luck

Sorry for not mentioning this in the OP, but it's an outdoor grow, will it still work?

Don't know about outside.
Sure it would help some but not stop the problem completely.

Hopefuly someone with more experience will jump in.

After some more reading I've found out you can spray the plants as long as it's not in the last 3 weeks of flowering, as I still have about 5 weeks to go I'll be them for a week or so and then stop.

Buy some Ladybugs and do time releases with them. Thats what i do with my outdoor plants

Also i use every other day or so is 1 gallon luke warm water,10 drops of ivory soap, 1 fl oz of H2O2 and spray plants throughly. Wont harm them
