I've done that myself several times.
Worst thing that ever happened to me was the roots grew thru the folds of the paper towel.

As an experiment back in my elementary school, we grew beans in a plastic bag on wet paper towels to check out the roots and junk.
I remember they grew surprisingly well like that.
Wtf, how do I remember some shit like that from elementary school and I can't remember who was here yesterday and smoked my last doobie?

they are looking pretty good right now. their growth was slowed a little because I am in a brand new place and at first I had trouble keeping the temperature down.

2 super lemon haze
Will soon start a grow log. whole grow is to be under 2 leds comparable to 2 600w hps.

and back to the seedlings again. it seems that i always have problems early, with my previous grow, i had the majority of my issues in the beginning.
we have an 8 tube T5 in a (5x6 ft) walk in closet attached to the soon to be LED flowering room. the first day or or two temps were way too high. this was corrected by adding extra fans and cranking the AC higher. so right now the highest it gets in there is 80. it hovers in the higher mid 70s.
they are still stunted. i corrected the temperature about 3 days ago and still they are not growing. i fear massive issues in this closet once the outer grow room gets going. suggestions?
as of right now, the door is always open with a box fan on low constantly blowing new air in to the room. it's not blowing directly on the seedlings. there is a small osculating fan in the corner and a small powerful fan on the top blowing more fresh air in. so if i am having problems now, i can only imagine what it will be like once i need to close the door for 6 hours while the outer room is on 12/12.

I'll be very surprised if after two harvest with the LED lights there still being used. Don't get me wrong I'm not anti LED but here in Mendo County I've seen a ton of gardens (50 at the very least) switch to them including the 3 watt lights (which I admit look cool) and not a single grower has kept them going.
Buuuuuuuuuuut I do believe they are the future of indoor growing but right now do I believe the 300watter LED is as good as a 600watt HID....simply put after seeing many growers results...hell no.
Pandor I wish you the best of luck and hope you shut me up with your results...

Once people start getting the 10W diodes dialed in an usable then I think that will change, but for now I agree with you 100%

I'm not looking to be a commercial grower. I just want some for myself and a few ounces to sell to friends. I have seen some promise in these lights from the research I have done.
