So, are you saying that you meant to switch your timer and you didn't because you hit the on switch? Or are you saying that you switched to 12/12 for a month and then hit the on switch and turned it on for 24 hours for a month?

Shouldn't hurt anything, just gonna set you back a little, considering you just started 12/12 as opposed to a month ago.

Start tying them down, the top 25% of the plant is usually pretty soft and bendable, you can bend that over(not too rough, 45 degree to start.) and tie it off, then work from there. That will allow you to keep the plant from growing up further and it will encourage it to bush out in the lower and middle part too.

I would bend the top down and tie it to the base of the plant or the bucket then you will get more growth tips and shorten you plants.

I don't know how i didn't notice kinda figured it out when i got the pwer bill.
Ill try to tye them down but im really pressed for space, Ive got 15 plants taller than me jammed in a room that I will very roughly guess is like 10'x5'. I am a terrible estimator though

LOL! Yeah it would be kind of obvious to see light seeping out from somewhere all hours of the day. Unless you don't really pay that much attention to your plants.....

There really shouldn't be any light leaks so, I wouldn't think one could assume neglect so hastily.

Yeah man I only check my plants like twice a day, both within 12 hours when the lights Are supposed to be on. I dont really like wake up and go check out the grow room, its not inside my house.
maybe I should have set it to turn off before I go to sleep. Didnt really plan that very well.

I'll take a stab... I'm a noob but, just to get someone to come here and correct me...
IF it were the case that the plants had been switched to from veg(24/0) to flowering(12/12) for one month, then were switched back to veg(24/0) for one month, you want to know what would happen? Is that correct?
Plants have hormones, or chemical messengers, that tell them how to regulate their metabolic functions. These hormones are produced and distributed throughout the plant in response to environmental factors such as light, wind, gravity, etc.
Due to being exposed to 12 hours of darkness for thirty days, the plant has undergone biochemical changes to it's anatomy and physiology in preparation for sexual reproduction. A revert back to 24 hours of light for thirty days will trigger a reduction in production of flowering hormones and in increase in production of vegetative hormones. This action, commonly referred to as 're-vegging' is a movement in contrast to the gradient of the plant's natural life cycle, therefore many agree that this places the plant under undue metabolic stress.
Now, I said at the beginning of this that I'm a noob and that's my guess. I GUESS that it would stress the plant some due to it having to go backward through it's life cycle.
What else did you wanna know?

Well, again I'm just guessing here but assuming that the stress from re-veg didn't adversely effect the plant then I think Diesel's advice still applies...

However, the stress could, in my noobest of opinions, possibly hamper the quantity of the yield. Sorry, I just don't know. I imagine it would have a lot to do with individual plant genetics.

I know this is a very old thread, but for future reference to anyone who may have this happen to them. I'd suggest cutting some clones to help lower the plant's height.
