I would insist on these nutes:
General Hydroponics FloraNova Grow for vegging and Bloom for Flowering. It's about as easy as it can get in cannabis cultivation. yes, you will need a ph reader adn you will also need an EC or ppm reader. I would recommend these cheap ph strips for measuring your ph...
just make sure it's in the range of the one in the pic above.
you will need timers as well. several of them probably. fans, make sure you have plenty of air movement in the grow rooms. reflective materials would be nice. you should just get on fb and chat with me sometime over the next few days. i've got time now, or will have starting next tuesday i guess.
Just wanted to note that GH's Maxi grow and Maxi Bloom work just as well it seems, and appears to be a cleaner mix. Either used with the Lucas formula is easy and produces very well.

for anyone who cares....
things are going GREAT. I have 4 beautiful Sour Grapes on day 5 of flowering. I'm starting to see some white hairs. I also have 2 Sour Grapes, 1 Kushberry, and 1 L.A. Confidential in veg, and 2 Sour Grape clones that I cut myself and are doing fantastic. I'm very pleased with the current results of my first grow and I couldn't be enjoying it more. I'm using the Technaflora nutes on my flowering plants, and although pretty cheap, they seem to be working very well. On my vegging plants i just started using Dutchmaster Gold. I've also been using Rhino Skin (1/3 strength, like all my nutes), despite warnings from experienced growers. Luckily, I don't heed all of those warnings. If i had, I'd be growing in soil right now, when clearly I'm capable of doing hydro (not trying to sound arrogant or pretentious, just pumped up and proud of myself). This shit is so much fun. Thanks for the tips, guys.

Which line of Technaflora nutes are you using? If it's the Recipe for Success, I recommend leaving out the Grow after week 3 of flowering, this will give you much prettier and larger buds in the end.

No I meant the Grow. The Recipe has Grow, Boost, and Bloom. Their chart says to use Boost at 15ml per gallon, Bloom at 15ml per gallon, and Grow at 7.5ml per gallon, but if you have already dropped the Grow then you should be good to go.

Just noticed they've updated their charts, so you're good to go. Only took them a year to make that change.

How much do you like the Recipe for Success, Stoneth? We are using it, and we're happy with it so far, but its our first grow, so we don't really have any previous experiences to base our judgement off of.

Well it does well for beginners and turns out some fair yields and clean tasting buds.
But I personally don't like it, I prefer General Hydroponic's lines of nutes much more. I get a much fuller taste in my fruity strains than that I get from RFS.
My co-op buddy loves the stuff tho, dispite the taste differences.
