Any issues with this package?

Are the buckets too small?
Will a carbon scrubber effectively kill most of the stink?
Is the reflector too poor of quality?
Anyone had any experience with any of this equipment before?

You have to copy and paste the last part IDK why it's doing that...

Fixed your link for ya. The buckets will do fine. It's a fair reflector. I don't personally have any experience with any of that equipment tho.

Do you think it is a good idea to invest in this package or buy everything separate?
What kind of yield could i expect with the package set-up vs a 1000w soil grow or even 600 soil grow?
What do you think is the best course of action for a first grow?

you know, that package looks pretty complete other than its missing a carbon scrubber. I think it may be worth it, honestly... try pricing each item seperately and figure out how much that would be?
Although, if you're considering going with soil, that package wouldn't be worth it. The capp ebb and grow system alone is over $500, and if you're not sure you want to do hydro, maybe you should get things seperately...

Would I also need to buy the 500 dollar ppm meter though in order to have a high yield grow? (Im hoping for 650+g's)
Thanks for the help
EDIT// Plus the extra nutes i would need? and possibly thinking about R/O?

500 bucks for a ppm meter? That's a bit steep, dude. You can find a good one for $80-$150.
And if you do soil, you wouldn't need one. Soil ends up being a lot cheaper, I would think. Hydro is much harder for someone just starting out as well. How much have you read on the subject so far?

Oh, and you're wanting a pound and a half on your first try?? That's REALLY optomistic, man. I would expect half that, at the most on your first grow. There are people on here who have grown a long time and are hard pressed to get a single pound out of a 4x4 tent, much less a pound and a half...

Damn thanks for raining on my parade haha
So a reasonable yield would be 8 ounces from a 4 x 4 tent?
I have people that will help me, so going hydro won't be a problem...
I have read a substantial amount on the forums and I just received my copy of Ed Rosenthals Handbook which i have been looking over as well....But the information as far as tent growing is very limited.

Yea, I think you could pull that off... I have a 4x4 tent myself, and a 1k light. We've got 5 buckets in there, and there's BARELY enough room for the 3 fans we need to keep it cool enough without adding an AC unit. Lol.

5 buckets in DWC? Soil mix?
Do you have an air-cooled hood? And is your exhaust vented outside or is it all in a closet or something?
