 2x2x5 tent with a 400 watt or 2 150's?

So a 2x2x5 or 2.5x2.5x5 is about all I have room for. I want to slowly buy everything I need to have a setup in the future, as that's the only way I'll be able to afford to do so. What my dilemma is, with a 4" inlinefan and carbon scrubber and some clean air intake from the room, will I have heat issues with a 400? I'd rather get a 400w with a nice hood than 2 micro 150w but if that's what I need to do to save on the heat issues, then 2 150's it is. Is it a big deal that I'm losing 100w for about the same price as a 400w? Please, all the feedback I can get is greatly appreciated, I have many more questions as well.

If your investing in your future larger grow rooms i think your pretty smart.. The space and time will come. Are you going to run on timers or on a environmental control device?
If you run on timers or environmental controller, just run the scrubber exhaust right through your cool tube during veg stage and out. If you run the fan every 30 mins for 5-10 mins you should get a nice fresh intake of good air and will vent the humidity and smell right out with the heat.
In a small room, you should be able to get by with a good timer(hard to find). If you want to invest in good equipment for future grows, like i have, get the good stuff and a controller..

The 400 will blow the 150's away when it comes to light penetration.
It wouldn't be that big of an issue of you have the right ventilation which you seem to have planned.
I'd go with a 400... I'm always wishing I had better light penetration, thus making me keep plants short.

I also am going to be starting a grow in a 2x2x5 space, and I'm using a 400 for sure. It really isn't a big deal to vent because the space is so damn small that even a booster fan will clear it twice a minute.

Get as muchroom as you can, the 2.5 x 2.5 will open up the work space so much that until your in there breaking your back in a tight bind you won't truely appreciate. I spent days finding a mylar lined closet that fit my space down to the inch!! It's got 3 Indica blue mists just ScrOG'd up yesterday under a 400 with a switchable ballist. The Can fan is on a Variac so I can adjust the speed to best suit the closet. I'm builing a grow log, but don't think anyone wanted to see sprouts. When the grow is fin I will post it. Til then, let's pray I can fill that 24"x46.5" space with green

I've been working in a 2x2x3.5 space for a few months and have no complaints so far.
If you read his post you clearly get the point that he cannot go larger...
That is part of being a good grower, being able to maximize what you have.
Anyone can get results with a huge room and good lighting, the shit basically grows itself. It's the fine tuning that takes patience.
