i know, right? i'm really stoked on the thing, it came out better than i had imagined it would. so far all the cuttings are looking like they're getting what they want too. excited to see what kind of roots i get in this one.
snagged a toy today - borrowed a growlab tent from a friend. just put it all together and now i'm going to figure out what kinda thangs i will do inside it.

ooo ooo! i remembered i had 4 querkles vegged out in 5 gallon buckets that i've been figuring i could flower somehow. i just thinned them out a bunch and took 44 cuttings so im not worried about preserving these as mothers.
with a really carefully managed vertical scrog, you guys think i could get these things to work?
if i tie them down obsessively into a vertical screen, would i be able to keep them from burning on the bulb....? or are these things just too big for the tent setup?

tie them down well enough and you may not even need the vertical scrog. and to answer your question: i dont see any problems.

alright i'm doing that then :-)
taking a few cuttings of randoms and smaller moms this morning, so far 9 alien ogs, 4 california orange buds, 4 la confidentials.
picked up stakes and fencing for the querkle vscrog. when my partner is back awake we'll get cracking on a custom sized drain tray for the tent (its too small for 3x3, but 2x2 is not big enough for me).
im thinking about trying out an idea i have. i wont say what it is just yet, but i am going to refer to this as project hydra for now

tent is officially running.
growlab tent - the 2'7" square one. 400w HPS vertical barebulb. 4" inline fan cooling it. four querkles in 5-gallon pots of coco. made a quick little runoff tray that drains into a bucket outside the tent. going to probably put a simple dripper system together tomorrow to water it (handwatered for tonight). used some vinyl coated yard fencing to make a vertical scrog about 18" in diameter.
today is officially day 1 of flower with that tent. will post pictures tomorrow.
