June 1st - 7 weeks 4 days
Took clones and put the girls under the screen. Turned out to get 5 females out of 6 seedlings. Not bad. Planning on vegging them just a bit longer to try and fill the screen up. Next go around will be a lot more efficient with the screen seeing as I won't have to wait 5 weeks to sex the plants and can start training them when they're nice and young.
The tall one all the way to the right was 3ft 4in before I put it under the screen at 12" above the rim of the pots.
and also a new family addition to the grow room! He's a baby Western Toad, and in no time at all he'll be eating full grown mice.

Me either, I would like to compare his results with mine. How long til you go 12/12? Make sure you are nearly done weaving through the screen before you flip otherwise it will take the plants 1-2 weeks longer to flower and will fuck up the bud structure if you flower when they are stressed from training and or transplants. Make sure those are both taken care of 1-2 weeks minimum before flowering.

I transplanted them to 10gal pots (Pretty sure these ones are 10 gal, they're twice as big as the 5gal. haha.) a week before I put them under the screen and am planning to train them another 2-4 weeks to fill out the screen before I go 12/12.
I'm tying down all the nodes that are poking threw the screen waiting for the others to catch up so i have a fairly even canopy. Kind of difficult to maintain an even canopy with 2 different strains and different genetics for each plant but I'm sure it'll work out. I love twist ties.
My 2nd scrog will go a lot smoother because I'm only planning on keeping the 2 best producers for quality and quantity. Stay tuned for that grow log in about 4 months!

Update from June 26th11 weeks 2 days
Sorry for the delayed update. I've been quite busy with the summer! But here is an update from the last training the plants underwent on the 26th of last month. I'll be starting the 12/12 cycle this week after one last training. Haven't taken pictures today because the screen looks pretty much the same from a camera's point of view, just more colas now.
2/3rds the way through training down the screen
done training
still a bit of foilage under there that will be clipped off soon but the screen is pretty filled up by this point. Time to start budding.
Everything is lightproofed, two 400watt HPS are up and running, everything on a digtal timer. Last thing to do is hang up the carbon filter before the girls get too smelly! I will update again here soon to show how the bud cycle is going.
Cheers!
