hardy plants or what!?

So I have 3 plants outdoors right now(i know its early)but it was more of an experiment to see if i can keep them alive during cold nights and seeing what they can withstand.
So they were put outside about March 5th after i started them indoors. The temps have not reached any higher than 60 and the lowest it's gotten was about 36. Well yesterday was the true test. I got off work to find out its hailing like a mad man(live in seattle) and when i got home i immediatly went to the plants out in the woods. I figured it was going to hail some more over the night so i took a milk carton and a apple juice container, cut them in half and took the bottom section and cut "windows" out of two sides and then took a corner off the top. and placed them over the plants. This was going to be the true test. After going home and spending the rest of my night gaming like normal I looked out the window about 9pm and saw that we had about a half inch of snow. I thought forsure the plants were goners! Today after i get home from work i went out and checked them and saw that they are doing better than ever!
Since its been so fucking cold all month they are reallllyyyy slow at growing but seemed ot be doing fine(other than a little droopy leaves). But today i checked them and there leaves were all better and seemed to love it! It got down to 28 last night and tonight its currently sitting at 32. So really this is still pushing these guys to the max. I know people say they wont survive in conditions under 60 but this is to prove they can! just a simple plastic bottle will make them love you forever!
thought i'd share it with the internet in case someone has plants they want to keep warm outdoors.

Yea i was so surprised that came in!!! even more surprised mine survived. One plant had only one leaf that was still fully intact. the other 4 or 5 leaves were missing the ends.
They are doing great though!
