So I was going for a stroll today and found this beautiful young specimen growing right next to the fucking sidewalk
It was growing out of a juniper bush. I knew the pigs would find it and destroy it (hopefully it's a she) so I took the responsibility of finding my new friend a good home. I plucked it as carefully as I could by the roots, then quickly smuggled the plant home. The thing is, I couldn't tend to it until now, so it's been sitting in paper towels since around 6 o'clock. Now I have it in a jar of water, and it's looking a bit wilted. I know cannabis is a hardy plant, so I'm not concerned with it dying. But I have NO IDEA what to do next. I'm definitely not growing this in my house, but I know of a great place, a nature reserve, to plant the hapless sapling. I want to keep it alive regardless if it's male or female. The climate here is awesome. So could you give me any advise, what to do to keep it alive until morning? I plan to pot it tomorrow and give it some sun and water until the roots recover, then I'm transplanting it in a special location, sort of in the wilderness. I'm confident it rains enough here that I wouldn't have to pack in water and whatnot, but I'll be reading the growery and taking proper measures to keep it strong as I visit.
So it seems as though the tap-root is broken, but it still has a bit of scuffles to suck water with. I dunno, does it look terribly damaged?
And, I know this sounds silly, but can you guys confirm that this is, in fact, marijuana
God does exists What are the chances I would luck out THIS well!!??!! Peace Myk

Yeah, damnit. I'm having doubts too, the leaves aren't right; they shouldn't be going all around teh tips of the stems. Real marijuana leaves are directed out and away from the stem tips
I'm still raining the plant as my own tho

There are a lot of weed look a likes as far as leaf structure. Maples, Money Trees, Umbrella Plants. However I doubt that is cannabis.

Yeah, The Palmate leaf shape is not unique to the cannabis plant in any way, However i still do find it amusing when i come across cannabis lookalikes in nature.

I found a plant growing right on a walk-way where 1000's...literally, 1000's of people walk every day. I saw it in...oh...late September. It was still small (aka - accidental planting), and was a male. A buddy of mine got a picture of it somewhere.
If it had been a female, I would have brought it home for sure
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

“You see this glass bong?” asks Achaan Chaa, the Thai meditation master. “For me this glass is already broken. I enjoy it; I smoke out of it. It holds my water admirably, sometimes even reflecting the sun in beautiful patterns. If I should tap it, it has a lovely ring to it. But when I put this glass bong on the shelf and the wind knocks it over or my elbow brushes it off the table and it falls to the ground and shatters, I say, ‘Of course.’ When I understand that the glass is already broken, every moment with it is precious.”[/quote]
