Yeah...I live on a lake where lots and lots of dead carp wash up. Giant beast carp that almost make it scary to swim with them 
Once those get baking in the sun, thats probably the worst. And of course dogs LOVE the shit...so if you ever see your dog heading down on the beach around here you gotta act like theres a fire to get people to stop them
I saw a friend of mine hit one with a shovel like a golf club once. It grenaded as soon as he hit it. One of the quickest times I've ever seen anyone dive into 5 inch water from the shore
