Yes, but I've been smoking pot 40 years. Its had to have some effect.

im sure its caused my smell to get a bit worse after a smoke session from the weed smell, but not sure if it has in the longrun

smoking has definitley affected my sense of smell, not by much though. It used to be a lot worse when I would do a lot of french inhales, but when I stopped doing those my smell got a lot better. btw I only smoke weed no cigs

yes but I find it temporary. after smoking I typically can't smell for shit.

I smoke too many cigs and have for too long to distinguish. Seems reasonable though that it would depending on how much and how often smoked.

Yes. Definitely. I've been smoking for 7 years now, and I use to have a very sharp sense of smell, but after smoking I can't smell shit. Of course, this goes away if I don't smoke, but smoking totally kills my sense of smell 
(and I smoke pretty much everyday........so, you get the picture) 
But hey.... its kinda nice not being able to smell my shits

Its a fact that any type of smoke has a negative effect on your sense of smell.
