I've used technaflora's recipe for success in hydro with fair results. Now teaming that with Monster bloom has made it much better.

Taste is smooth, and potency is on par with the genetics used.

=D i guess i may go with technaflora for my second grow. my first grow was outdoors with 7 plants and miracle gro and it got eaten by deer.. so then i had to piss around the plant so thedeer get a wiff of my testogerone which worked.. and then when early flowering comes someone snipped it... i was sad.. especially pissed tht i walked so far in 100 degrees to water it

The thing with me is, if you're using Fox Farm soil then why not use Fox Farm nutrients as well? They were obviously developed to be compatible, switching things up just complicates matters and I feel for a beginner it's probably not the best plan. Just my 2 cents

dear harry_b11sach, As much as i love you.. i might agree with you. if amazon.com has the certain fox farm nutes i want for cheapish. i may go with trio package with big grow, big bloom, and tiger bloom, or organic peace of mind steamed bone meal and such like that. im thinking of buying organic soil from a store. may not buy it online. i dont think they have foxfarm ocean forest in stores. so its a maybe on buying foxfarm soil online.. or organic tomato soil which i used last time but i dont have results since they got eaten and snipped.

Have you considered Hempy Buckets with Lucas formula? If you're looking for cheap and easy it literally can't be beat. I'm by far the biggest advocate for them on the site here so my opinion is slanted, but they're heavily endorsed by Coda, Stoney69 and Inverted as well.

I have used both nutes in a dwc unit with clones from the same plant. I have to say the potency and smell of the buds from the technaflora recipe for success were very strong and the taste was very smooth. With the foxfarm it is good but the taste, smell and potency wasn't as good as the technaflora.

Did you just use fox farms without additives in this test? The recipe has many additives, so it wouldn't be fair without them. But if you like the recipe, you should try one of GH"s lines. I've been working with the recipe for a few years now because my friend loves it, tho even he admits the GH products blow the doors off of it.
