If you put like butter or margerine or fat or something in bong water would it absorb the thc and not get you high. idk i just thought of it.

Idk. Im writing all this stuff, and my friend was talking about dirty bongs, and said something like if there really dirty they dont work as well. And i thought about how the water filters out the smoke but not the chemical because its not water soulable. Then i thought of how you would get the chemical out. And i thought of that...

it's a reasonable assumption. my buddy put soap water in the bong before. and another buddy jumped on top of the counter and starting pointing and yelling at him "you never put soap in the bong water!!!", over and over again. haha

Yeah, the dirtier the bongwater gets, the higher the concentrations become of all sorts of solutes that are less polar than water. A lot of crap that gets trapped from the smoke is pretty substantially non-polar. So it would make sense that as these chemicals build up, solubility of the THC in the liquid would increase, as more hydrophobic surfaces and less hydrogen-bond donors/acceptors would be presented.
Throw that at him for a scientific explanation.
But why would you want to use lard and kill the high

i had a bunch of vodka in a water bottle
and i 4got
so i used it as bong water
took a phat rip
and felt like i was gonna die
inhaling alcohol is WACK
