I'm going for psychology, good look with being a chef though. That sounds like it'd be very fun, and so would art

You have a better chance to make significant money if you live in a big city, have personal connections, or open your own restaurant.
I have a friend who went to a prestigious cooking school and came home only to get a bunch of $12-15/hr offers. He ended up learning how to do network security from a friend and now he is an IT security manager for a large regional bank.

About the only chances a chef has of big pimpin is opening his own restaurant, which sucks because just being in charge of your own place would be 4 times as much work as cooking.

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.

Well if you want to deal with some other greedy cock-sucker that will piss off all your help, sure that is a viable option.
But for real, time to smoke some hash. Coldest fishing day all year, fucking bullshit.

I was thinking of doing this a couple years ago too.
Tough profession and CONSTANT stress. I spent about 5 years in kitchens, just bars and grills, and a couple pretty nice places too. Don't really get a lot of time off, depending on the situation of course. Some places you might get more time off than others. Constant bullshit it seems though, depending on who you have under you. The key to it is having a good sous chef I think, and having a good back of the house crew overall. Those things make your job a lot easier. It can be hard work and lots of bullshit to deal with it, and A LOT of long days, but if you're lucky enough to get a job somewhere really nice, or like a restaurant in a casino in Vegas or something, then you can make damn good money at it. Getting into those places though takes a hell of a reputation and usually a contact or two somewhere along the line. If you can do all that though, and eventually own your own restaurant one day, then you'll be making some money, maybe open up a couple more after that. A lot of people have gone broke with that same dream though. My personal advice would be to go for something else you like, unless you really, really enjoy cooking.

The thing is, it would be awesome to have a pastry shop. I don't care much for pastries myself, but that seems to ALWAYS sell.
And, should cannabis ever take the legal route I'm hoping it will...it wouldn't take much extra effort to offer some "special" pastries on the side
I could call it "Freshly Baked"
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

Sure, most shroom & weed forum chemistry is the same thing.
Going to graduate school to study it is a different ball game. "bit more precise". lol

I was gonna face palm that quote yesterday but forgot.
"Why not go to school for 3 more years for something completely unrelated so you can make people dinner, just a bit more precise?"
