How dark is dark?

Ah fuck. I have a few girls in flower...and I just noticed there *might* have been a bit of a light-leak...
I have my veg cabinet right next to my flowering room...the thing I have sectioning them off isn't very light proof I guess, because I stepped in to see how much the light coming from the vent hole of my fan went through the separator, and I could see pretty good in the room.
Don't get me wrong, I mean, its not like I could have read a book in there or anything, but I could see the shapes of everything in there, and probably have written something in a dark marker and seen what I was writing...
Needless to say, I've moved the veg cab away. No hermies as far as I can see so far (they've been flowering for a few weeks now) and they *are* in flowering for sure.

Well, on a clear, moonlit night, you can almost read... but there aren't very many clear-moonlit nights in a row very often though... you might still be okay, but

How is it that I never even thought of the moon?
Yeah, I've definitely seen the moon a lot brighter than the room, so I think I should be OK. I moved the veg cabinet anyway, I was just hoping no damage was already done.
Everything looks fine to me, I'm hoping it stays that way.

Usually if you have a strain that has been grown outside, i.e. bagseed, outdoor mids, etc, they will be less likely to hermie from light leaks.
Its when you get the breeder seeds that have only ever been grown in absolute 100% darkness that you will see more hermies. From light leaks.
I just grew out some bagseed indoors that just prior had been grown outdoors and I had a slight light leak the entire grow and everything turned out fine. Hope this helps

To be sure you don't have any issues with your flowering, you should obviously have 100% darkness in your flowering room. Strive for that so you don't have to worry about it.

No it was a large outdoor grow, male and female mix allowed to cross pollinate
