I think it's funny how many of the people on poker play multiple tables all day every day. I swear I bump into 1-2 of the same people every day
Might be down for some poker later tonight if you are around.

what makes you say college sports is tainted? just recruiting and shit?
game was kinda shitty despite the ending. Not really surprised Auburn found a way to win. It's what they did all season
Logging onto poker right now..

I feel like they deserved to be paid some kind of stipend. They make an incredible amount of money for the universities and 90% or more will never play in the NFL or at the professional level. Then there are the incredible athletes who would have made millions at the pro level who get career ending injuries in college.

No, because they'd still be going to college and be students. they would just get a base stipend, and I am talking very low, for their play during the season.
The universities make millions off selling jerseys, game tickets, alumni donors, ect ect ect.. Why should the actual athletes not get a very small cut of the money since they are the ones doing the actual work?
Not to mention our high standards that college athletes are held to. They are constantly in the spotlight and any minor fuckup is immediately noticed and made public
