Alright so for the most part the plant looks good. There has ben some dark wilting on the leaves but I figured this was natrual. And I have had some heat issues that are under control now. They look white, and are tiny and seem to be just in the soil. They are not nats, so Im not sure. Are these something that is natrualy in the soil? Or are they something I should worry about? I have tried a few different pest sprays that I have sprayed around my grow box, but they still seem to be there. Anybody else have these?

From reading older posts they sound like springtails. One of the users suggested removing about 2" of the top soil where the eggs are. Do I replace this soil?

Though i think most people disagree here, I was always under the impression that springs never represented much of an issue to the plant, beyond the seedling stage (and even then, it seems limited to estremely tender plants). Hell, it's even common practice for people to seed vivariums with them, as to aid in the breakdown of waste
But hopefully maybe someone with more experience could clarify

They really do not seem to be bothering the plant, so I don't think I'm going to worry too much about it. The plant is doing great, shes starting to put on a little weight and get thicker. So I'm exited. I'll see if I can get some pictures up and update if the bugs are causing any issues.

okay so I saw some of these in my pots too and I am pretty sure they just came in the soil. I only spotted them in 1 pot but all of plants are just babies, some not even poking out of the soil yet. 3 of them are doing just fine so I imagine they arent doing much.

Fungus gnats. You don't have to see many or any flying around, they don't stick around long. The larva are in the soil on the top 2 inches or so. They are small and white and jump around like flees when they get startled. Yes, you will need to replace the top two layers with a barrier of some kind, sand works great. The young gnats could be causing the wilting that you are seeing in your plants. They are eating your roots.
