It`s best to pollinate another plant.
A plant self pollinating it's self bottlenecks the genetics ie. severe inbreeding. Imagine your mom and your moms clone somehow having a kid. When you cross two different plants you get more uniform results (85% being a uniform 50:50 mix of the parents) and the remaining 15% deviating to either side.

When using gibberellic acid remember to start spraying the parts of the plant you want the male flowers on two weeks before you put it in flowering light.

If I apply GA two weeks before I move the females to flowering light, is that the only treatment needed? Or will I have to apply again during the flowering process? Also about how long does it takes before pollen sacks are present? Sorry to bring back an old topic, but this info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

One can also use colloidal silver for this purpose, which can be made at home. From what I understand, it doesn't work quite as well as GA, but if you're tight on cash, it's good to know.
