Has anyone ever tried growing Salvia Divinorum?

I understand that it only naturally grows in one location in Mexico, but as with any plant, a similar growing environment can be created.
You can order cuttings online. I just want to hear a success story before I order one.

Yup tons of people grow it.
Mine got some type of stem rot (not root rot) and every time i tried to cut it off it came back like some type of a plant virus or infection.
But once you get it growing in your environment it will grow good

i'v had mine a couple weeks from the contest over in the sponsers' forum, and it's starting to take off quite nicely.
they require high humidity, near 100%, but you can slowly ween them off to the point where they can sit in a room like any other plant.

salvia can be dehumidified..mine are.
its a patient wait to de-humidify them but it can be done...i did loose some plants trying but managed to get two to flourish..they now sit in a shady window sill and are growing like mad...bear in mind i am in the UK (up north) so as you can imagine it is not the hottest place in the world....
trust me it can be done
