the plan is 2 totes http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-35-Gallon-Latch-Tote-Set-of-4/10401055 cut a whole in 1 lid and the bottom of 1 leaving about 1 inch for support then glue the bottomless tote to the lid with the whole in it and paint all the insides black and then white and hopefully be able to keep all light out, probably use a 4 or 6 inch inline vent with scrubber http://www.greners.com/fans-ventilation-filters/products/inline-fans-blowers/sunleaves-windtunnel.html http://www.greners.com/fans-ventilation-filters/brand/phat-filter/phat-filters.html and a little fan for the plants http://www.homedepot.com/Appliances-Air-Conditioners-Fans-Dehumidifiers-Fans/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xh3Zas3i/R-100662920/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053 and the lighting http://www.prolighting.com/soush100q-k.html http://www.prolighting.com/lu100-med.html
and last but not least the strain http://www.autoflowering-seeds.co.uk/lowryder-purple-jem-autoflowering-seeds-2406 heres a pic of a grow someone did with a 600watt hps http://thecolangelo.com/grass/mi5xpj/PJmon_finish.png probably just gonna end up hanging the bare bulb in the middle of 4-7 of the plants they're autoflowers so ill run the lights 24 hours a day grow them in dirt 1 gallon water jugs or similar sized pots i heard the strain only gets about 15" tall, about how far away should i keep this 100 watt hps bulb from the plants and would it be a good idea to let it drop down bellow the canopy towards the end to get more side light or will they lean into the light too hard, can anyone who has used a 100watt hps give me an idea of how hot the bulb will get i was thinkin around 6 inches away from plants would be about as close as they'd be able to get without burning and has anyone ever tried this tote cab idea before and been able to get it light proof i threw a 26watt cfl in one today for shits and giggles and lit the thing right up like a jacko-lantern. im hoping for at least one oz. out of it anything less is really not worth it, i've grown before so im not a complete noob ill be rotating the plants at least once a day and optimizing light coverage of the buds and rubbing off mites at least once a week maybe some co2 feedings too i dont know about spraying co2 water on the plants with a hid light though dont wanna burn them

This costs 2x what you were thinking for lighting but there is way more light b/c it is 150 watts, a digital not magnetic ballast, and it has a hood http://www.hidhut.com/catalog/150w-hps-ballast-bulb-and-economy-reflector-combo-p-1383.html?osCsid=4321f664b4b14b1f3bcc7e8f57a5c4a9

i was actually thinking about that option too the 150 watt digital probably draws the same as a 100 watt magnetic, also was thinking about one of the florolux really cheap combo with a hood http://htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=49255only 80 bucks shipped and 5 bucks will get me a air cooling flange to fit on top of the hood, would i get better results with this florolux hood or 2 70 watt bulbs hung verticaly with 2 of these http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bayco-10.5-Brooder-Clamp-Light/14003468 the tote is 32"x19" or would the digital 150watt beat them both i could also get the glass tube reflector for an extra 60 bucks and air cool it but id rather not spend 60 bucks if this thing isnt gonna make a whole lot of heat id like to keep temps around 72 to keep spider mites down i have ac in my room so any intake will be around 67-70, but anything bellow 80 would probably be ok
