Anybody else like to listen to TOOL while smoking? very mellow, if you never have before. I highly recommend it.

i like tool a lot, i like their song's meanings, their inspirations, and messages. i dig that they are all psychedelics and into DMT, they are totally a thinking man's metal band. but not just a thinking man, but a totally stoned philosopher thinking man's metal band. but sometimes they are a little too HARDCORE METAL for me. But I do dig a lot of hard rock bands, like motley crue and such. So tool is really good but sometimes too intense for my taste.

10,000 days is easily their worst album. Get Lateralus, Aenemia, Undertow, and Opiate.
I love Tool especially when tripping. Smoking is good too, a long time ago I used to be able to get psychedelic highs from just weed and I remember listening to Tool and it being more intense then times on mushrooms or LSD. I miss those days.

I love tool threads! They are an awesome band for sure. When they announce their next tour i have decided (with a couple friends) to follow the band around in Europe, assuming they do a Euro tour. Dr. Siek, I remember you started a thread in Tune Town called "FurrowedBrow" and you were asking for some tool recommendations. Check back in that thread. I didn't see the thread for a couple weeks after you posted it but i got to it. Have you guys seen them perform live?
