So it finally happened after all these years.....anybody kno how to fix this w/o sending it in to Sony???
I am currently searching for the PS3 repair guide torrent to DL...
any suggestions will be appreciated...thanks guys

Before you void your warranty, if you have one still, I'd reconsider sending it to Sony.

nah my warrantys been up for YEARS, my buddy had his friend do it and its fine now, so if he can fix it, i kno i can...

try craigslist man foreal, i got my xbox with the rrod fixed for 20 bucks by just some local dude at a house. He said he can fix any video game console with any problem for 20-40 bucks depending on what it is. try it out man foreal ull be happy with the results!

damn it says on the guide that its only a problem with the HDD, ive reinstalled 2 of them and still no solution....i currently am taking it apart to check all connections
