 just started smoking again, weird side effect

whats up i quit smoking for a year.. it started giving me anxiety attacks , had anxiety for the last year got perscriped klonopin 2 months ago so i started smoking again. i get really fucking high but i have to smoke way more then i should have to, then i just fall asleep, anywhere, ill start noddin out .. iam pretty sure its the klonopin but im used to it it doesnt make me sleepy anymore. I just wish i could smoke without it and enjoy it like I used to. anyone else take benzos with weed , what it do for you?
also depression when not high, thats definately the klonopin, im just wondering if anyone else has the same problem basically im scared to smoke weed without taking benzos cus of extreme instant anxiety attacks that subsides once your high wears down. my friends dont understand thats why im asking on here.. thanks for any input

Hey man, welcome to the Growery! 
For your anxiety check out this post, although it's a little long it's pretty much cured my anxiety.
If you can conquer your anxiety you can stop taking medicines that burden your lifestyle

It seems to me(and I have done this as well) that taking a prescribed pharmaceutical and smoking mj affects us differently, that usually why they have those warnings on the bottle or with the piece of paper they give you with it. Careful mixing things with prescriptions, they can have bad effects. I have read about people getting really bad thoughts and ideas when doing it(I do not blame the weed for this but the other) I wish you the best and hope you get things right with yourself.

This is simple, you're now a lightweight and k-pins with bud for a lightweight is too strong so you get sleepy.
This is all normal, either stop smoking weed if you feel weird OR do it more often to build tolerance....... weed and k-pins are a pretty mellow combo.

thanks for the replies especially that write up on anxiety i bookmarked that one. but last night my friend came by with some really good fuckin crazy bud we split a gram rolled it up , i was fuckin blazed and not tired clear mind no anxiety , high for 3 hours. i think im just smoking shitty bud
it was crazy though, i ve never smoked anything like it, didnt even smell like bud, looked like something off a grow log on here. expensive 380 a ounce is that worth it ?

380 an ounce will get you some of the highest quality pot. atleast in Minnesota., elsewhere that might get you a dime of schwag I dunno.

Imported "Cali" buds are ~400 on the East Coast, sativa is more. Unless you have friends that is.

Dank is worth anywhere from $200-$400 an oz for the best marijuana on the planet. In dispensaries in Cali some of the sativas are soooooooo strong they will make you feel very energetic and could actually cause anxiety. Other night I smoked some Jack right before bed at 11:30 and DAMN i was zinging until 2am. Different strains = different feelings. Have fun finding the right weed.

Jack Herer, very strong sativa. Great for morning and night but does make me feel "up" some nights. Jock Horror is the Nirvana JAck crossed with a commercial high yield strain.
Should be pretty good for you, I heard Jack is difficult for some growers but the Jock or Jack horror is much easier on growers but even less stable than Sensi original Jack Herer...... having grown neither this is just hear say I'm repeating from a Ed Rosenthal blurb in Culture magazine. I've also heard jack is most known for being hard to grow and bad genetics from lesser seed companies can make it lean toward the indica traits which jack is not really know for. I can pick jacks smell from a line up any day of the week with a stuffy nose, so that should be what you strive for IMO.
