 Making a better grow room?????

I have 1 150w hps sun system and am going to get a second one. 300 watts total. I am going to grow 3 female barney farm red dragon which is some really potent herb. Also am going to get a 6" carbon filter fan combo from htg. this will be for smell i am growing in my closet. i will be using fox farm ocean forest and fox farm nutes trio. 3 gallon pots ill veg for a month or 2 then switch to 12/12. am i missing anything? i also have a fan at the bottom for intake and the carbon filter is more powerful and will be exahust.

get a better light than another 150W HPS, if you're getting a 6" fan then you could handle at least a 600W light. I"m saying go with no less than a 400W if you're planning on spending that kind of money

yeah what about a 400w hps with cool tube 6? with the 6 inch carbon filter and im also going to buy a tent for sure now i have no idea how to set it all up though.

is that everything i need to have a good grow?? could i grow 6 red dragons?
or 4 would be better?
will the htg carbon filter cover all smell inside and out the tent?

yeah I think that list looks good. Why are you getting 10 of each 2gal, 3gal and 5gal pots? you don't need to do that much transplanting, and if you're only growing 4-6 plants why are you getting 10? just trying to help you save a little cash 
and yes if you use it right the filter should completely remove the smell. with a 400W I would grow 4 plants, but 6 would be easy as long as you keep them small enough

cool im getting pots for future outdoor grows. what ill do is for 4 red dragon and a couple autoflower plants like blue himilayian from short stuff ive wanted to grow this for a long time now.

okay so now my question is how do i setup everything? like how do i vent the cool tube and the carbon filter? im mainly worried about smell and heat from the 400w hps so i want to vent but i want the carbon filter to filter all smell so during flowering my room wont stink and only inside the tent will is my goal... how do i set up the venting and carbon filter?

okay so i did more research and planning and came up with a plan. I will use that grow tent and use a cooltube 6 inch and ill get 2 inline fans so i can intake air and let it go through the tube then right out. Now does the tube keep smells from leaking??? because i was going to the the 6 inch carbon filter for my main exhaust that way smells wont leak and ill use a 4 inch inline fan at the bottom of the tent and 2 ocillating fans inside the tent. 400w hps and MH for veg.

The tube does nothin but keep the bulb cool and ventilated, you being diligent with the installation of your carbon filter keeps smells from leaking

i was ust going to hand the carbon filter above the light or next to it and put ducting at the fan and exhaust it up into one of the 6 inch holes in the tent. does all this sound good though? i want to make sure i buy everything and do it right.

wait, the carbon filter is just going to be hanging there? you need to be drawing air THROUGH the filter for it to do anything

yeah its a fan/carbon filter combo im going to hang it there and attach ducting going upwards that way i donts hang the filter upside down.

heres a pic of what looks like a perfect set up! this is what im gonna do.. only not with a vortex fan going out ill ust use an htg 6 inch inline fan plus the carbon filter comes with a 424cfm fan this should keep all my smells inside right? and keep temps down.

I have that HTG 6" filter/fan combo and it eliminated the smell of 7 full grown plants in flower. You won't have any problems.
