Hello all,
I am about to begin construction on my mini-fridge grow box, and i have some questions, but first let me give you some info on the fridge im going to be using. It's dimensions are 17" wide x 18" deep x 31" tall, that is 5.49 cubic ft.
Now here is my first question. I already know that I am going to veg with 150+ watts of 6500k cfl and possible one 2700k, but i am debating on whether or not to flower with cfl or hps. If with cfl i would probably to with 200 watts, but if i go hps i think i could use 2x100 watt hps, or even a 250 w with a cool tube. I am not worried about heat because there is about 6 inches of space under the fridge that i could run more fans and flexible exhaust pipes. What do you guys think about this?
Also, please let it be known that i am a first time grower, but have been doing research for a while now.
P.S. This will probably be the first of a few questions to come during my build.

at the point where you're talking 150w, you should really not be using CFLs. watt for watt, you'd be better off with a 150w hps or two 75w hps in there. it sounds hard, but just do it and you'll be glad you did.
make sure you vent properly, and take care of odor control. get a good 4" fan and a filter that is matched properly to the fan's specs. if you don't cool your box right, you will produce crap buds. environment is the k3y

Yellow, Thank-you for your reply. So what you're rating lights wise is that the hps will be better for both veg and flowering than the cfls, correct? Also, given the spaces if I were to do a scrog or lay grow, what do you think an average yield would be?
