 Quick question. Lights went out In room

Ok so my lights went out in my room I do not know how but all the bed rooms went out. I am not sure if its cuz I got 4 cfls running or what.
But So I got newborns in my closet There poking through The medium as we speak and well I am doing 24 hours of light for now and want to know if the 3 mins thats the lights were out could effect my plants in anyway?
Also I think the reason the lights went out was because my graphics card popped out and some how caused the lights to go off by some type of shock.
I had to go to the circuit box to turn them back on

I'm no expert but I'm sure your plants will be fine. 3 minutes without light won't effect your plants.

Maybe put them under 18/6 if you want to save electricity. And they will be fine w/o 3 mins of light mang dont stress.

You need to do some diagnosing and find out why your breaker got tripped, four CFL's should not have thrown a breaker.

I really dont know Why it did that tho. Is that bad that it did that?
Also I am not using to much electricity from running these cfl's 24/7 right? I mean I can just stop using the light in my room I haven't been using it at all really.

Well, tripping a breaker is an indication that your circuits are overloaded, being that multiple rooms went out and you aren't running huge wattage, I'll assume that whoever wired the place did it incorrectly. Check the amperage on the breaker that tripped, it may be that its just the wrong one and too small. Should be a 15a breaker.
