I've tried Yoga independently, but its hard to stick with if I can't set aside some time each day to get into it, I however definitely see how it could be useful. I know I would probably get a better experience if I took a class, but around here its like old cat ladies and the mentally insane, so I just do what I can.

Meditation is hard for someone as high strung as me. Being too stoned to think is about as close as I have come to meditating.

90% of yoga practitioners out there are phonies teaching fancy stretches. Real yoga is about learning to control your mind and you're never supposed to teach it for money or any other personal gain. That being said, those fancy stretches really do work wonders for your physical body. You can just watch some youtube videos or something to learn some moves and get into the habit of doing them every morning after you wake up. It doesn't take long to begin noticing the effects and it feels amazing. Decompress nigga.

and what do you mean by high-strung? Just sitting down and relaxing with your eyes closed, becoming more and more aware of your surroundings, and letting your thoughts dissipate can be an immensely rewarding experience and it only takes as little as 15 minutes of your day.

I started waking up early this past week.  I wake up and go for a short run, then come back here and eat some breakfast.  I am feeling much better as well.  I am also into music and live music.  I really like the festival scene but dont go to many of them.  Also like to play golf and ride my bicycle.  My interests are pretty much all over the fucking place.  It seems like my interest can be sparked by anything depending on my current state of mind.  but to answer your question, no i don't and have never meditated.  I do, however, go to a lot of mediations.

I meditate just about daily.
I do smoke cannabis, but it's not my intrest.
I use it to help me with meditating.
I do not like alcohol, it's too damn disgusting.
I haven't fished in a long time.
I'm real tired of cod4.
I do not like ufc.
Never played disc golf.
I use the internet seldomly.
And I chopped firewood 2 times in my life.

"She quickly stood up & looked down, the door on her shoe had gotten larger.
Her shoelaces then quickly took hold of her hands, which caused her to sneeze.
She spit on the puddle of liquid rice to her left, hoping it would release the toads from their chains.
It did nothing.
Desperately she bit into her arm-chair, hoping, praying the bird will hear her call.
"Get the lock!" Sponny yelled.
But was too late.
The door had opened.
She quickly grabbed her shoe & threw it, spilling & exposing the contents inside & relaseing those things."

Never meditated, although I am interested in that thing where you practice placing your mind's eye in different parts of your body or whatever.

What I have been very interested in something I saw in this documentary, Kymatica. In it Ben Stewart talks about the power inherent in nature, ancient cultures and their religions.
Energy meridians- Electrical impulses that exist inside all living beings (interconnecting nerves) and also planets (determined by diameter, circumference, speed of orbit and rotation)
These frequencies are responsible for many biological phenomena such as: menstrual cycles, circadian cycles, and emotional/behavioral cycles. These frequencies converge in the center of the brain, the location of the pineal gland (aka third eye) in many cultures this is believed to be the spiritual third eye responsible for cognition.
Many ancient (pre-Christian/Islamic) religions believed/knew this and used their spiritual practices to heal themselves and the earth. Even their languages were more in tune with the earth then than now.

Hebrew, Sanskrit, Aramaic, Arabic, and other ancient languages can affect our circulation and nervous system - even to the point where it can have external influences on the environment, making it warmer or cooler. Certain chants in Sanskrit can cause a flame to flicker brighter or dimmer depending on the phrase and emphasis on it.

I've been interested in what techniques they knew and used to communicate with the earth and how to do it myself or continue their work.

Daily and sometimes more again after years without. At least in an open and free minded way without inebriation's.

No choice really. No where to run and no where to hide living as clean as I have had to the past few months.

I always go back to it when I'm out of other hedonistic options.

I've found it's flowing power to have grown exponentially with decades of past decadence tendering the fire.

To be honest, I would have expected the opposite much earlier in life during my first deep journeys.

Then again I guess we are but a sum of our experiences and the paths that they present.

I use to meditate quite frequently but I don't anymore. I'm a pretty hardcore runner though and I like working out a lot and playing sports. I have this amazing routine that I do at least twice a week, where I do a quarter Mar, have a full push or pull workout, then take a Sauna and then go into an ice bath repeatedly (so imagine the shock your body experiences after all that.) It put's me into this state of mind I've only ever achieved doing that. It's this happy euphoric feeling, light feet, tingling skin and a clear head. I find clarity on a lot of difficult subjects and thoughts during that time.

Down at the gym I go to, they have free yoga sessions twice a week. I've been meaning to go but haven't yet. I should. I feel like I'd enjoy it.

The only time I meditate is when I'm out for a hike....or deep in the woods.  I dunno if it's meditation per say, but I just sit down.... shut my eyes and listen to mother nature. Weight/Cardio training is really what I rely on to keep my sanity.  I'd go fishing more often...but I can never seem to make the time. Yoga is something I would love to try though.
