You can bet they will be doing some Cali shows as they always do.  I think they only did one cali show last tour so they might make up for that and do a few shows, but who the fuck knows what that group is doing.  I just hope I am able to go to another show or two.

Did you see them during the late 2002 tour when they rolled down the alex grey screens and had that giant ball for parabol(a)?  that shit was epic.  It was the first real concert I ever went to.  Nothing has come close to that show.

NI, you must have been going through a scalper or ebay?  Ticketmaster doesn't sell em for that much unless it's a vip seat.  I think they are like up to 60 bucks normally, but they sell out pretty quick.

I will prob be making the drive up to San fran, and the best part is my girl will be in the country.  I go to so many epic concerts/parties without her it'll be nice to finally have her around.

i could get a flight out to SF for $250.  plus the $50 ticket would be 300.  plus some gas money would be 50 or so.   i would only miss 8 hours of work too.  i could make that up over the week.  This is something to consider.  I would only need something to do from the time after the show until about 5:00 am.  this is a dream atm.  i am not sure if you were truly serious about a ride.  I guess they have that bart system up there i could use if nothing else.

if they announce a date or two closer to me i will take those up instead.  but SF usually gets a good show from what i've heard and seen.  i think the last time they played there jello biafra came out and they covered holiday in cambodia.  that was cool.  i can post a copy of that if anyone wants it.

If i am able to snag tickets than I am absolutely serious about the ride, from what i've heard tehy are usually gone within seconds of going on sale but I will be waiting by the computer on standby hoping to snag a pair.

and hell yeah i would love to see jello biafra tool doing holiday in cambodia.

Right on!  Should be a great fucking show.  I'm a little leary of that area at 11 pm though.  IDK, maybe it's fine up there but it looks like its in a down town area.  did you get GA or seats?  Or did they even sell seats?

generel admission, i know i had to click on a menu to select that so i think they had an alternate option.  Possibly mega expensive box seats or something.  I pretty much just focused on what i needed to get the order through fast and didn't notice anything else lol.

btw furrowed did you get yours by constantly refreshing the page, i was about to do that but then i looked on this page.

http://www.simplehelp.net/2006/07/30/how-to-get-tickets-for-any-ticketmaster-event/

and they said refreshing constantly actually hurts your chances, so i just went to the page where you have to click more info to actually get to the ticket buying page, and found a java powered atomic clock on the web.  As soon as it was ten am i clicked more info and it worked.

So glad i didn't sabotgage myself by refreshing the page constantly.  Just wondering if they were actually right about refreshing being not helpful.

oh man, i was refreshing like a mad man.  I will read that page.  Looks interesting after a glance at it.  I run no-script with firefox so it was blocking all sorts of shit.  It was a frantic few moments cause i wasn't really all that prepared as i couldn't find my wallet.  why i placed it by the TV, idk.  but it worked out.  I asked a buddy last night how to score the best tickets on ticketmaster and he did a bit of research and came back talking about creating an army of bots.

haha yeah glad it worked out for you.  I was frantic as fuck as the final seconds on the clock ticked off and i've never filled out forms so quickly in my life.

And again I did snag an extra ticket so if anyone is interested let me know.

i'll buy it from you and sell it on ebay.  Sometimes doing what's right isn't as important as what's profitable.   jk, that's a quote from matt parker and/or trey stone.

lol nah, I may do that myself but if a friend in need of a ticket wants one i could be talked into letting it go at a fair price, or even giving the ticket for the ride up.  Seems like that's cheaper than gas moneys.

It's already too late for you cause i know you aren't in need.

i do still need a ride to the venue and maybe back to the airport.  I'm sure that there are public transportation options.  If i go i am just going to fly in for the concert and fly back out at 6 am the next morning so i dont miss too much work.

I'm sure I can probably help you out with that, and I don't mind if in the least if I do end up driving.  There is a slight chance that I will fly but most likely i will sell the 3rd ticket for gas monies and take my moms prius to save gas on the road trip up.

We'll keep in touch, but yeah theres definitely public transport options.  This is from the ticketmaster website.

I hope they do a show close enough for me to attend. They are definitely in my top 5 all time favorite groups and I've never gotten to see them. It's especially shitty when I have to hear all the time from people that have seen them how epic their shows are with the lights/stage setups and so forth.

yeah, they are still adding dates.  They added 3 shows today.  the two denver shows and a show in sacramento on 7/13.  I would bet anyone $50 that they announce an LA show (or two) soon.

I would love to go but tickets are so damn expensive!

"She quickly stood up & looked down, the door on her shoe had gotten larger.
Her shoelaces then quickly took hold of her hands, which caused her to sneeze.
She spit on the puddle of liquid rice to her left, hoping it would release the toads from their chains.
It did nothing.
Desperately she bit into her arm-chair, hoping, praying the bird will hear her call.
"Get the lock!" Sponny yelled.
But was too late.
The door had opened.
She quickly grabbed her shoe & threw it, spilling & exposing the contents inside & relaseing those things."

It's a small price to pay for the experience.  the bang for the buck is huge imo.  Hell, i spent $350 on a ticket to see them in tempe a few years ago.  I was sooo pissed when ticketmaster fucked me over on that.  I was living right next to the venue at the time and it was also where I walked across the stage and got my hooding (or w/e they call it) for graduation.  i had to see them there.  That was one of the smallest venues they have played for the public in the last 12 years.  The capacity of gammage is 3,000.  I wish the band would have got the extra 300 i spent on that ticket rather than some greedy fucking scalper.  That system is rampant with all sorts of bad shit.

This is a version of Third Eye performed on August 3, 1997 in Corpus Christi, TX.  If nothing else just click the play button and listen to the first 20 seconds where mjk instructs the crowd to share their psychedelic drugs with a friend.  it's pretty amusing.  Plus it's a fucking great performance.  over the course of 1996 and early 97 they really perfected this songs live performance.  so in late 97 and throughout the tour of 98 the performances were spectacular to say the least.  Vince de franco played on some of those shows in 98 and this one featured in this post (i think).  If you like the song third eye then i would highly recommend checking out this performance of it.

that's from ticketmaster, not the official site.  I think it's a safe bet since they also had the 2 nights at Red rocks posted before the official site.  That might be all of the dates.   Now the question becomes, should I sell a body part to get tickets and hotel stay?
