Damp Rid as a drying agent?
    #405750 - 04/23/10 01:31 AM (14 years, 8 months ago)

Has anyone ever tried this or heard of this being tried?  Would it damage the bud?

How and why are you wanting to use it?

Isn't a slow-dry preferable? Or maybe thats a slow-cure.

I'm sure it would work...but it seems like I remember something about bud that dried too quickly being harsh.

Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

I don't think it would damage the bud, but there's really no use for artificial desiccants when drying your weed, just hang them up in a ventilated room and they'll dry out perfectly.

I agree.  I don't think it would damage the bud, just curious.  It could replace the microwave quick method for those who just can't wait.  I just can't imagine cooking ones weed that way.  It's just cruel!
Well, if a grow ever happens, I will try this drying method on a very small scale and see how it turns out.  Will let you know.

Anything to do with cannabis and a microwave is the severe mental retardatiion method.

I've used an oven to dry out a tester bud in an hour or two before, but I've never heard of microwaving buds before.... Unless you're triptonic, but that's just seeds

  i forgot about that.  ive used a dehydrator.  it worked ok for me.  unfortunately not using it wasn't an option.  I agree that desiccants are not necessary.  keep that shit for your mushies.
