SOUR GRAPE CLONE!
    #405365 - 04/22/10 05:48 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

Just picked up a sour grape clone today and was wondering if i can transplant already and put it into vegging. a lil bit of the roots are showing through the rock wool, but not sure if the clone is fully established yet:

this is my setup currently and if i were to put it into veg, are the lights at an OK distance?

I would transplant but make sure the soil is wet, and maybe move the lights afew inches away as i have noticed clones are more delicate when it comes to lighting.

Transplant? No, you put the whole cube in the new pot with the soil. Damp soil.
And yes veg it out!

oops, didnt mean transplant, more like, moving to a new soil to grow in. nice! ill start to veg it.

but i noticed some ppl saying that you can start to flower a clone right away if its established.  im not looking for a big crop or a big grow, smaller the better. so if i were to veg this for lets say, 1 week, will i be ok to start flowering it right away? its about 3-4in tall so im guessing by the time its time to harvest itll be around 25in.

and i was wondering if you can still LST a tiny clone like this...my mind says YES...but i just want to be suree.

Yes you can flower the clones once established. But in your case with only 2, the cost to do this grow will out do your profit so to speak. Most that flower clones right away are good sized growers with a buttload of clones.  LST is very do-able.

is that sour grape haze from a san diego medical dispensary? I picked one up a few weeks ago, shes growing beautifully. I would have already put that in a 4x4 cube, once its roots break through there its ready for veg

hey guys quick question. im currently growing this clone with a bagseed plant in a small area. i WAS using three 26W with 2700k along with two 26W 6500k, but the heat problem was a big issue. (CFL bulbs)

so i removed 2 of 26W 2700k and now have one 26W 2700K bulb along with the 2 26W 6500k. is this OK for the 2 plants during veg? just needed to reduce heat so thought it might be a good idea...
