Clones... from a clone?

Okay, I don't have pics yet, but here goes:
I recently acquired a bubba clone in rockwool. I brought it home and planted it with the rockwool right in soil in a pot outdoors, surrounding it with chicken wire. The next morning when I came out, it was completely snapped in half (about 12"). Immediately I knew the culprit was my dog.
Feeling bad for the lil plant I let it be, knowing that it was a fully rooted clone in soil. I continued to water it hoping that it would grow again.
The clone later withered up, dropped the rest of of it's leaves, and I assumed it dead.
Come later, I look at the pot, and there about half a dozen little sprouts all over the pot, recognizing them as pot plants form my experience starting from seeds. They are now about an inch tall, and flourishing. I am very confused. I thought you could only grow from seed or a rooted clone.
The sprouts are about an inch from the actual rockwool cube. I looked at my other clones as well and saw that my ak47 and my skunk # 1 have little sprouts in their pot too! Could it be possible that they some how started from the roots of the bubba in the rockwool?
WHAT IS GOING ON???? Are they female? Where did they come from? I'll get pics to help build the picture in your head, but please help!

One of two things and only one of two things.
1. Someone put seeds in the pots. 2. Those are not weed sprouts.

Actually, just tell me if the new seedlings or clones that you have popping up have a set of Cotyledons(also called false leafs) or if it just has Leafs?
i think that question alone will solve this mystery!! lol

I got the clones from a dispensary, and put them in brand new fox farm. I just can't imagine someone dropping seeds into 3 of my pots! My plants are super low key. The bubba was a bit over 12 inches.
My AK47 and my Skunk#1 have this same issue. But they just happened 2 days ago whereas the bubbas have been going on for about a week and a half.
I know it's lame with no pics, but I have no cam. I'll borrow one tonight.... in the name of science!

well if the plants have Cotyledons then they are from seeds.

The have the false leaves, and have developed 2 nodes with the distinctive pot leaf design.

they have to be from a seed since cotyledons are used as temporary sources of photosynthesis until the plant can generate enough energy to form the real leaves. If they were clones they wouldnt have these false leaves.

i may be wrong but im pretty sure if you didnt plant any seeds, these arent pot plants. i am using fox farms and i have had a few little seedlings of some unknown plant pop up from my soil. but hey maybe we have a modern day johnny apple seed.... but with weed.... johnny weed seed lol. we cant be sure until we see pictures.

It is impossible that it cloned itself. Either you had seeds in your soil, but my guess is just low quality or recycled soil the has random sprouts of unknown plants shooting up. You get this a lot from miracle grow soil. I recommend getting a new clone and starting over in a better spot.

Okay, so the bubba sprouts started wilting and I moved them to a different, smaller pot. They are definitely pot plants. I'm going to keep then and see if they are female, in a separate room of course.
Here are pics of the my ak and skunk. You can barely see them, but if you start from seed, you'll recognize the formation.

Johnny weed seed =D That is cool and all, but that means my garden has been discovered. It was probably one of the stoner gardeners around here!
I've already moved them to a safer location. Do you guys really think I should start over? I paid good money for theses babies, I was just going to rip the sprouts right out of the soil.

The big plants are the clones, obviously. And them tiny little weeds growing next to them are just weeds.

The bubba saps are the ones I didn't get to take a pic of. 4 of the 6 withered and died, I transplanted the remaining 2 to little pots, and fed them with a molasses foliar spray/watering. They are definitly bud plants, which makes me lean towards guessing that the ones in the AK and skunk pots are weed as well!
I just smoked a bowl of supersilver with a HUGE ball of resin on top. All theses paranoid thoughts of random people invading my garden, GAH!!

Those aren't pot plants, sorry man, I grow grass and those grow before the grass starts. They are a strain of Clover... haha funny though cuz they do kinda look like cotyleydon leaves (sorry too high to spell right now) but they are too small and don't develop anything afterwords... It's a rookie mistake but chalk one up for experience... LOL

The little plants are not pot plants and the big plants look like they have bugs.
