I just ordered a seed pack of poppies, and they will most likely be here April 25....Meaning if i started germinating them when they get here, they will most likely be sprouting around May 1st....Will they grow good through May, June, July, August in my area's hot weather, or do i have to grow them in shade, or do they like full-on summer sun? Advice could really help while i google it some more

Where did you order from, if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking to place an order myself. Bouncing Bear supposedly shut down, but the website is still up? I don't know..

I made a soil patch outside and scattered some seeds in the soil, and a bunch of ants raided them and i got pissed...So i started to germinate them on some rockwool and they are sprouting now...I have a few pinches of seed in some peat pots, and when they sprout i will post more pics...
And i woke up this morning to find a few sprouts popping up in the soil patch so i guess the ants didn't eat them all

Alright so how long exactly do these TINY sprouts take to actually grow into a lettuce-like plant? I got pics of the rockwool sprouts and a pic of a small part of my outdoor soil patch

My sprouts are identical to yours, and are about 4-6 days old.
