 Bud Manicuring Question.

Well its about that time, i gotta harvest today or tomorrow.
I pretty much know how to cut, harvest dry and cure;
there was just one thing i wasnt to sure about.
And this was when to manicure the buds.
It would seem logical to manicure the buds after i chop
and BEFORE i hang up to dry, but i have been told
that i should manicure AFTER the plant is already dry?
This seems like it would create mess and id end up
with poorly manicured bud. But i just tryin to make sure. So yeahh,
Do i Manicure the buds when im in the process
of hangin it up BEFORE it drys out, or AFTER its
already all dry??

I've heard of people waiting until it's dry but I don't think it's a very good way to manicure. I manicure as soon as I cut it down.
You are right, it will make a mess and it will be much harder to manicure because all the sugar leaves will have crinkled up and be too close to the actual bud. Take 1 of your buds and dry it before you manicure and see what you think. Fresher IS better.

Yea I find it a lot easier to do the manicuring on the day they get chopped. Seems to help the drying process too.

I trim before it dries. You are right on the spot with it being much harder to do it when dry. the only way to get tightly trimmed bud is to do it while still green and firm.

Yes, im currently in the middle of trimming.
Have been for about an hour. My plants not even all that huge -_-
Two Words to describe this.
Tantalizing/Tedious.

wait till you're looking at 5 lbs of wet bud needing the manicure. The tedium of trimming almost outweighs the excitement of how much bud that is

holy fuck i just finished manicuring.
Shit took like 5 hours!!!
Granted i got up every once in
awhile for a smoke break but holy fuck!
5 Hours!!!
But ahhhhh, alas, now we just play the waiting
Game....

Lol, really, you thought 5 hours was long. Awesome, I wish it could go that fast for me. I usually have 3-5 friends over for harvest and it still takes 2+ days.

Yeah, I wish it was still as fun and exciting as it was when I first started. Not that I'm complaining about having to harvest such large yields.
