Manicure b4 harvest? /w grape goo pix
    #443955 - 07/09/10 10:00 AM (14 years, 4 months ago)

i wanna trim all the fan leaves off this beast!
it's leeching right now, and has about 4-5 days til i chop it down
would it mess my shit up if i manicured the rest of the fan/shade leaves while the plant is still leeching?

thanks guys

personally I would just leave them on man. Its gotten this far with them and if your gonna fell it in the next few days I don't think it would make that big a difference other than maybe saving you some time during the manicuring stage

Although I could be wrong!

Nice plant!

Trim is up dude, go fucking wild, you're in the clear now anyways. I manicure here and there during the flush too and it saves you so much time later on. Easier not having to sort fans and good trim in two different piles too because everything is trim come harvest time.

this is what i'm after! i just don't want to lose quality or weight

anyone have experiance trying this? or know a link to someone who did?
i've never heard of it and i can't find any info about it
i'm thinking about trying it if nobody else has, maybe it's just as good as waiting

my theory is that the leech would be more complete if i cut off the supply of fan leave nute storage
and trim now while i'm bored as opposed to rush when they are cut
and the sun may cook(UV) the trichs better w/o the shade leaves
i know this would stress the plant a bit, that's what i'm wondering about, would i have more resin from the stressing, etc...
when i get some clones going i'll do a side by side, unless?

You nailed it.

Look at the pic on the far-right in my signature and try to find a fan.

Doesn't really matter IMO. I pace it but only because I'm too lazy to do it in one sitting. :vaped:

i see a few crusty. sure does make the plant look perty tho thats for sure!

So does doing that actually increase the flushing?

Am I the only one here that thinks that plant looks like it could use another week? I know I can't see trichomes, but still..

Tektonic have you looked at the trich's with a loupe or scope?

yea, 40x two days ago, and they were about 10% carmel brown and the rest were milky
this plant could have done much better and gone longer if i didn't burn it with a whole cup of silica
it decided to finish early, and it's so damn frosty
