First grow UPDATE and questions 4/13

I basically came here because I was trying to figure out whether I'm doing ok or not, I've been a member of the shroomery for awhile now and have learned a great deal thanks to the members there, hopefully I'll have just as much success in this endeavor.
I started with a seed from a bag on the first of the year, dropped it in a shot glass with filtered refrigerator water that was out most of the day. After it sank to the bottom of the glass I placed it in a solo cup filled with leftover miracle grow potting soil on top of my hot water heater. Approx 4 days later it sprouted.
(this pic is about 1-2 weeks after it sprouted)
Up until the first of this month I was using a single 65watt equivalent CFL daylight bulb. I went to HD and bought 2 droplights and 2 100watt CFL daylight bulbs. They are running 24/7 along with this old fan I had in the garage.
I also transplanted it on 2-1 using the same soil left over from the summer. I've been using generic miracle grow plant food thus far. This is what it looks like today.
This is a learning experience for me, so I'm open to criticism, suggestions, and even well wishes:)

The only advice I will offer is change up the nutes, MG is the worst of the worst and you will likely have problems before the grow is over.
Everything else looks really good!

What do you mean by generic MG nuts? Do you mean soil or a liquid/solid Fert.?

Here it is today, it grew a little bit.
I was going to run out to my local garden center and buy a different fertilizer since it hasn't been fed since I was told to stop using MG. I noticed the very bottom of the plant has these spots only on the very bottom leafs, is this water stains burning the plant or something more serious???
Thanks

It could be water spots but since it's not under an HID light prolly not specially with the margin curling like that. I would look at possible nuterient burn. Did you get nutrient solution on those leaves while watering?

Monday was the last day it was fed and watered, it's more than likely I spilled a little solution on the bottom leaves.

That could be it but again I am n00b. I thought it could be heat but that would certainly effect the top more then the bottom.
How much of what did you feed it with? I would think unless you let it sit on the leaves it would need to be pretty strong to burn like that and at that size it shouldn't need much food anyways, if any.

I would tend to think it is Nute burn. It is a young plant and miracle grow is a hot fertilizer!

It's been a week since I first posted, Saturday I repotted the plant for a final time it was in the 3 liter bucket next to the new pot. All pics were taken minutes ago. As you can see the plant easily doubled in size.
I also doubled the amount of light it was receiving from 2 to 4 100watt equivalent CFLs all 6500 bulbs
I took a small cutting on Saturday, it's still alive today so I guess I did it right.
A close up of the top

looks really nice so far. if it's not already you might want to toss the clone under some kind of a humidity dome, half a 2 ltr or something would be fine. just to keep it humid till some roots start growing.

It's currently under the CD case in the pic(bottom middle) of the different pots.

I'm new to growing in closet... i intend to use 250w fluorescents in vegatative room, how many fluorescents would you suggest for a vegatative grow space? which is 3 FT wide 4FT in height and has a depth of 1.5FT.. my flowering room has the same height and width.. in here I intend to use a HPS... should i expect my electricity bill to burst through the roof or would I be able to keep it under control??? any suggestions you could give or any ways you could help, would be greatly appreciated

I've been updating on Tuesdays but being it's March 1st and hoping to have bud by 4/20(original plan)wanted to know whether it's to soon to start flowering? This is what it looks like today used the bottle to give you a better idea of size. Lighting has not changed, and will most likely be the same during flowering unless my wife changes her mind on getting a SunLight 150HPS.
Anyways would you forget about 4/20 and just keep it in veg state for another 2-3 weeks or go for flowering. Thanks

Well your cutting it really close on time already. Unless thats a really fast flowering strain you are already going to get premature and hastily dried buds. Harry_Ballsach recommended a product called bushmaster to another member the other day trying to rush a harvest. I have not used it but it is supposed to cut 2 weeks off of flowering with that jump start you could make the deadline and not have to dehydrate maybe even. It is expensive I think it was 20bucks for the smallest bottle they had at my local shop (ohh boy that is fun to say) but Harry said it does what it's advertised to do. If you go that route talk to him before you apply it he has some special directions.

When I started and preliminary readings stated 3-4months from seed to bud so it's no biggie if 4/20 comes and goes. I am wondering though if I should start flowering due to my light constraints, height is not an issue as I have an 8ft ceiling if I really needed it.
