wow man very cool. Are they glazed on the interior too? I feel like clay would be very hard to clean otherwise but then again I've never tried either

They arnt totally glazed on the inside , but I have cleaned a number of peices and they scrape down the same if not easier than glass peices. Plus they can handle more heat and just are a better material.

eek not glazed on teh inside? You should work on that. i feel that all that moisture just getting stuck inside the pipe harboring bacteria and such. and if it got wet. you ever get a clay pot wet then have it near a fire. or even a piece of granite for that matter.
do you use glass pipes as the molds??

I'm interested in your ceramic pipes, but I have the same concerns the man does. I scrape my pipes with reckless abandon too, so I don't want dust or chips coming off.
