so let's say i have my plants vegging at 18h light on, is it ok if the plants have lights go on and off during it's 6h "dark" but not so dark period? will it mess up it's photoperiod?
the situation is to have plants vegging in a room that has a ceiling light and t5's on the plants, but the t5's on for 18h. and the ceiling light goes on and off many times during the whole 24h

Don't think it will make that much of a difference in veg, but it would probably be a bad move in flowering. I am by no means a expert though.

so is the only danger of messing with photoperiod when the plants are in the dark part of the flowering cycle? casuse yesterday i accidentaly unplugged my lights while they were on in flowering.

Yeah when your flowering the plants are more sensitive to light changes. In flowering, once the lights go off they must stay off. Its different with the lights on though. A little light malfunction wont hurt much.

you should just leave the lights on 24/7 if its possible. better for the plants in veg stage
