 Cloning Super Skunk (New Pics)

I have some absolutely AWESOME looking mothers in VEG right now.
Super Skunk variety.
I have failed at taking clones 3-4 times now.
I am documenting the process now in hopes that people can offer advice.
1.) I started by mixing a solution of Clonex and tested the ph. (5.5-6.5)
2.) Soaked the small 1" rockwool cubes in the solution for 12 hrs.
3.) Cut clones and dipped in Rootech cloning gel and let sit for a min or so. (no air time between cutting and dipping)
4.) placed clones in pre soaked rockwool cube, placed in 2" net pot, and added hydroton to keep it in place in the netpot.
5.)placed netpots in aerocloner. (non jet spray)
Breakdown of cloner.
temp gauge for water. (77F)
ph balanced with clonex solution.
bubblestone ran 24/7
humidity dome.
T8 fluorescent 24/7

Well they survived through the night with no drooping at all.
I have a strong feeling about this time.

It's a 15 year old strain that's been alive in my town. Received clones from a buddy. Amazing looking plants even in the Veg state.
I can't wait to see roots so I can flower these mama's

I was just curious because right now my veg chamber is packed with a bunch of 3 week old SS x Bubba K and I was just curious if you have any past results with it. So far I am in love it them. Beautiful huge leaves on these little ones.

I just wanted everyone to know that roots have EXPLODED on all the clones. I am removing the leaves once they turn yellow. but things are looking great!
Since this worked so well I have built my own unit that holds 36.
36 have been cut and are in the cloner now. (they are looking great as well!)

Congrats on the clones. I never doubted you, I used your spawn to coir guide from the shroomery when I was still doing boomers, kicked ass. Now that you have a batch w/ roots it will be like riding a bike next time.
What are you doing with that many clones? going outside?

So after seeing how Non-Complex this design is... I decided to try and whip up my own little design.
I spent about $22 and I already had the air pump from playing with the mushrooms.
We actually have a Hydroponics store in my town now and it's AMAZING! they have everything! I went and found 2" netpots for like $.20 a piece. The container I made holds 36

It took over a week to see roots on the first set, so I will document some when the time comes.

I put a little over 4 gal in the big one
and yes 2 bubblestones 14" and 1 large air pump

The reason for your failures from before could possibly be your plucking of the yellow leaves before the roots have taken...Until they do, the plant actually feeds on its own leaves until the roots are established...
Am I wrong to assume that you have removed some yellow leaves in your previous attempts?

didn't even have time... they were dead over night/2 days.
It was my use of a seedling heat mat. The water temps were well over 90F. So don't do that.
They are still looking nice!

So the root structure looks great on the first set.
The 36 - I used "Macro Plugs" which are a little thicker. I am seeing some roots but not much yet.
I am about to transfer them to rockwool cubes and placed under a 1000w HPS in Veg.
My question is: Since I have these under a humidity dome. Should I ween them off of using it... for a little bit before transplanting them and putting em' under the HPS?

Exactly.
It's like hardening off outdoor plants.
Same type of deal, just give them less and less for 3-5 days and they should be fine!

all have been moved over to 4" grodan cubes and placed under a 1000w HPS light on a new veg table built the other day.
right now I am hand watering them.
