Vent scrubber why ?

If heat is not an issue why would you vent a good carbon scrubber outside the grow room ? I thought the whole point of filtering the air with carbon is to remove odors , so once the air passes through why not keep it circulating though the room ?
Would be easier as well , or am I missing something ?

Well for one to bring in new air. If you just keep the same air in your room all the time you run out of co2 for the plants.

Thanks for the reply , but fresh air can be brought in through a fresh air vent . I guess I am wondering why risk people noticing/hearing a large exhaust fan running an exterior vent ? Fresh air intake isn't a problem it can be passive, but an exhaust fan is noisy and leaves a heat print .
Is the average efficiency of a scrubber not that good at completely cleaning the air of ALL the odors ? So most just dump what remains outdoors for everyone to smell instead ? I can walk/drive around the city I live in and can smell where some of the grow OP's are because of the air dumping outside .
I dunno , just asking ?

The exhaust from my grow is lights only. No smell. I have to fight heat. There is a/c exhaust also, use a flat carbon filter there. So far no smell.
Smells a dead give away. Don't know why anyone would let it out.

Because even though fresh air is coming in, you need to move the stale air out. Cannabis likes to have the entire volume of the grow area exchanged about twice a minute.
