I would definitely be interested in more details about this because I've had the same question. Since cannabis does not need a dark period during veg, why is interrupting it a bad thing?

Different strains react differently to light. They call it photo-sensitivity. This is an important issue to be aware of if you ever plan on revegging your plant. I think the general consensus would agree that it doesn't do anything to help the plants and should be avoided. However, like i said about the strain your growing will make a big difference. Most kinds of stresses on the plants should be avoided (although some are beneficial). I prefer a consistent cycle that closely emulates the outdoor light cycle (with the exception of the change from 18/6 to 12/12 being overnight). Having a sporadic or light cycle that isn't on a time during vegging could increase your likeliness of having a male plant or an intersexed female (hermi). hope that helps.

what kind of interruptions are you talking about? if you need to do work in the dark add a green light like this one so you don't fuck up the cycle.
