The top of those plants should be an inch from the light tubes.

yah man, you're definitely going to have to re-arrange your room so those plants sit directly below your lights. That third plant you showed is unbelievably stretched and the other two are headed in the same direction.

Well, unless he upgrades his light he'll get a few fluffy shitty nugs.
But if he put a 250 HPS in there it could go very well!!

You aren't going to grow shit with that light.
They are going to stretch beyond fixing...Put them as close as you can get them to the lights at least and you might get 3-4 grams

I've used boxes to lay the florescent lights across. This makes is easy to adjust the height of lights when plants grow 1.5ft+. This lights stay cool. Try to get some Mylar and line the wall behind the light with it. Also I would have started in a little terrarium, like a aquarium or plastic lid to retain heat and humidity. Invest in another $10 florescent lights. Don't reuse dirt, for microscopic bugs might attack indoors. good luck!

those 2 4' fluros can only be giving off no more than 4000 lumens altogether...
if ur only doing a couple plants, just a 150 HPS. youll thank me, and yourself...

yeah move them florous way closer If your serious about growing, then rearange your grow room after a little bit of research and start off by getting an HID light. it will be a great investment...

Welcome to the best site on the web for growing lucky bucket. I'd stick with the flouro till they'd sprouted a few more leaves. Stick them right up beside the light for a week or two, and in the mean time keep an eye out for a cheap HPS light. You'd be as well to get a HPS or a light that lets you use both HPS and MH. Although seeing as you're just starting if you see a nice cheap 200+ W CFL light, or a low power HPS like Dr Siek said. So you don't need to worry so much about scorching.

Just sold some stuff, and should be getting a 250 HPS EconoWing Grow Light System soon. Thanks for all the advise.
Cheers and happy growing.
P.S. I made a fun video of me taking care of the lanky, bitch weed.

Lol, you could have just buried the sprout deeper in the soil and stuck the light right up close to it. and for future purposes I recomend starting them in smaller containers then transplanting... just try to keep that flouro really close until you get that light

Yeah, I learned that after I planted that first one. That's why my others are all in smaller pots. As for the light, I moved some things around and got my two better plants right under them. Should be getting that 250 HPS in the next few days.
