It just gets a lot of laughs when I play. All about the good times when I'm baked as hell, just want other people laughing with me.

I dont know who told you that was cobweb, but its not. Its perfectly healthy mycelium. Although you should grow on grains. IMO its easier. And they colonize quicker.

I thought of popcorn , but ended up with rice flower since popcorn needs to be soaked and all. Besides now I have a shitload of whole grain rice flower on storage , so I guess I am sticking with PF-tek for a while.

lol, once you go to grains you will never go back. Do wild bird seed. It takes a little longer to prep them but its worth it in the long run. Mine colonized in about 5 days after innoculation.

I do cakes and bulk both conescutively, collect spores from cake shrooms and collect bulk subs when they are peak size for optimum flushes
No reason to stop 1 method to do another

Embarassing. Hey trip, that guy that told him it was cobweb was me. Go back and look at the original pics he posted...the myc looks grey for god's sake!
I agree though, that's mycelium.
And how the fuck are you getting that kind of growth without sterilizing!!! This may be innovative...Will you detail the process by which you used your oven to sterilize the grain?

Ooohhhh... Brown rice flour shroom methods are like hydro pot methods...I have no idea WTF they are! I started with grain and never looked back. I didn't want those mini-yields that you get from cakes.

Exactly, I have never used BRF. My buddy did once and it took like a month to colonize. I have always used rye/wbs.

I cant imagine any living organism surviving 190 degrees heat after one hour. Water or not , pressure cooker or oven thats an inferno! :O

Especially bacterial endospores. They can survive so much shit, that's why we presoak grain so that they germinate...and then we can kill them!
