i mean pc's technically get the job done.. but so do tinfoil pipes

you just don't know what you're missing until you use one for a while it blows your mind

windows is ridiculously unnecessarily complicated and the greatest way to really describe a mac is that "it just works." you never realize how much of a hassle windows gives you until you try something else.

all of window's greatest advancements in vista and windows 7 that make people actually like it now have been standard features in mac for years that have been imitated. the entire concept of a desktop and 'windows' was ripped off from macintosh and they went to court over it years ago.

there's obviously a transition period. it's a different operating system.

it's a bit weird at first because you try and perform tasks the way you know to do it on windows and sometimes the striking simplicity of it all is dumbfounding.

but yeah i don't really feel like being a fanboy so i'll let it be and let people enlighten themselves.

All this mac talk is making me want to convert.

Just a couple weeks ago I had a blunder on my pc, and I have a pretty tricked out pc.  Out of nowhere I got an error and it would freeze 10 seconds after clicking on anything.  So I had to spend about 12 hours, at 10 second intervals, backing up all my files and then doing a factory reset.  pshh, pc

long story short...

I live out in the boonies.  A farmer was harvesting his crop and accidentally rolled his tractor over a fox den killing the mother and two kits, the one in the picture survived.  Farmer and his wife didn't know what to do and I'm somewhat known as the animal rescuer around these parts, they sent him off to me.  I got him when he was just under two weeks old.  Raised him for six months (at six months they reach adulthood).  He needed full 24/7 care, rarely left the house for six months and didn't get a full night sleep for five months.

I kept him inside fearing he would run away if let outside and he wouldn't be able to survive without my help, but at six months I could tell he was getting antsy and wanted to explore the world on the other side of the window.  Tough tough decision, he was my baby, I decided to take him to a wildlife rehab center to this lady I really trust.  She spent another six months turning him back into a wild animal and finding him a mate.  He's now running free on a nature reserve and most likely has a family of his own.

it was a very hard six months to say the least haha. But I would do it again in a heartbeat.  When I decide to settle down someday I plan to raise a little fox family.

He's a gray fox.

A little fun fact*... gray's are the only ones with hooked claws which they use for climbing trees.  Just my luck as he would start at one side of the house, get a full speed running start and dart up the side of the wall trying to touch the ceiling.  I have probably 12-15 foot ceilings and he could get within a couple feet!  But damn those claws were like needles when he was just a baby..
